* Revert "Revert "Migrate unsafe parcel APIs in framework-minus-apex""Bernardo Rufino2022-01-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This reverts commit 331be9a6431d6489f8d1e1b80cb510d0ee073c50. Reintroducing ag/16366278 since it seems unrelated to b/214053959 (more details on b/214053959#comment55). Original commit message: Migrate unsafe parcel APIs in framework-minus-apex Migrate the following unsafe parcel APIs in framework-minus-apex: * Parcel.readSerializable() * Parcel.readArrayList() * Parcel.readList() * Parcel.readParcelable() * Parcel.readParcelableList() * Parcel.readSparseArray() This CL was generated by applying lint fixes that infer the expected type from the caller code and provide that as the type parameter (ag/16365240). A few observations: * In some classes we couldn't migrate because the class also belonged to another build module whose min SDK wasn't current (as is the case for framework-minus-apex), hence I suppressed the lint check (since I'll eventually submit the lint check to the tree). * In some cases, I needed to do the cast in https://stackoverflow.com/a/1080525/5765705 to make the compiler happy since there isn't another way of providing a class of type Class<MyClassWithGenerics<T>>. * In the readSerializable() case, the new API also requires the class loader, that was inferred to by InferredClass.class.getClassLoader(). * Note that automatic formatting and import rely on running hooked up to the IDE, which wasn't the case here. Bug: 195622897 Change-Id: I272432e6e082a973f7a50492ec35d79c2b577c93 Test: TH passes

* Add @Nullable annotation to the parameter of Object.equals() methods.Roman Kalukiewicz2020-10-151-3/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Those annotations could be inferred by some tools (like Kotlin), but the https://checkerframework.org/ doesn't check inherited annotations complaining about all equals() invocations that get nullable argument. The change was generated by running find . -name \*.java | xargs sed -i 's/public boolean equals(Object /public boolean equals(@Nullable Object /' in the frameworks/base directory and by automatically adding and formatting required imports if needed. No manual edits. Bug: 170883422 Test: Annotation change only. Should have not impact. Exempt-From-Owner-Approval: Mechanical change not specific to any component. * All Parcelable CREATOR fields are @NonNull.Jeff Sharkey2019-02-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | If they were null, then the Parcelable would fail to work. Bug: 126726802 Test: manual Change-Id: I7929ffa2f20e5de1c8e68e8263cca99496e9d014 Exempt-From-Owner-Approval: Trivial API annotations

* Redact SyncService stuff from masterMatthew Williams2014-06-041-63/+10
| | | | | | | | This changes the API surface area, deleting things we aren't releasing. I'll do the internal clean-up at the same time I do the SyncManager refactor to sit on top of the TaskManager. Bug: 14997851 Change-Id: Ibefbb246f0e98d3159399151744279902468a23c

* Revert "Fix for scheduling conflicts, address fred's comments"Torne (Richard Coles)2013-08-121-3/+4
| | | | | | This reverts commit 96ca46cf8726abbad46857a8af5eb83b2c04ec21 which broke building tests on master. Change-Id: I7e712d03b42cd25e22c0a8e72cf4e4526cd412e1
* Fix for scheduling conflicts, address fred's commentsMatthew Williams2013-08-091-4/+3
| | | | | | | | | The last set of comments asked for a renaming. Rather than confuse the issue now, this patch set focuses on the internals and API changes can come later. Renamed AnonymousSyncAdapter -> SyncServiceAdapter Change-Id: I596ea2f7367b83b357b2f4b56e069448d5591b2a
* AnonymousSyncService & SyncRequest.Matthew Williams2013-07-241-19/+131
| | | | | | | | Changes to the way bundles are parcelled broke SM, this update writes out the bundle as xml. This circumvents the need for parcel, and makes it easier to debug whats happening. Change-Id: I6cd5d3a2eb80bfa5b3ae0c7f2d2ff91a65daaa34
* Move lingering services to services.jar.Jeff Sharkey2012-12-111-1/+20
| | | | | | | | This helps reduce the pressure on framework.jar, and makes it clear that it should only be used by the system_server. Bug: 7333397 Change-Id: I0858904239535380fbf30562b793e277d8c3f054
* add sync pollingFred Quintana2010-02-051-0/+84
- added the ability to specify that a sync (of account/authority/extras) should occur at a given frequency - the existing daily poll code was replaced with seeding each account/authority with a 24 hour periodic sync - enhanced the "adb shell dumpsys content" output to show the periodic syncs and when they will next run
